Project Overview

Gadarwara Super Thermal Power Project is a proposed 1600 MW coal-fired power plant promoted by state power utility NTPC at Narsinghpur district in Madhya Pradesh, India.The total land identified for the project is 1990 acres, out of which 1350 acres of land will be acquired and used in Stage-I. Land compensation award under the LA act has been made for total private land. About 700 acres of private land is in physical possession of NTPC and balance is targeted by January, 2013. Govt. of M.P. had approved allocation of 318 acres Govt. land and is under transfer to NTPC.
